Stephanie Kandetzki grew up in South Carolina and attended Coastal Carolina University for her undergraduate studies, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in English, and graduated Cum Laude in 2010. In 2015, Stephanie earned her Master of Professional Studies in Publishing, from George Washington University.
Stephanie began her career at the University of Virginia, where she first met Dr. Maria Kirzhner in the Department of Ophthalmology. At that time, Stephanie began as Dr. Kirzhner’s Administrative Assistant and a compelling bond was quickly formed. Over the years, Stephanie continued to grow within the department and even earned the position as Executive Administrative Assistant to the department chair.
In 2023, Stephanie left the University of Virginia to pursue a new adventure and became the Office Manager for Dr. Kirzhner. Stephanie is dedicated to helping patients and strives to provide tailored support to her staff members and especially her mentor, Dr. Kirzhner. Her positive attitude, compassionate care, and willingness to help others allows her to excel in her role as Office Manager.
Beyond her professional career, Stephanie is a devoted wife and mother, and enjoys spending time with her family.
