Stephanie P. Kandetzki grew up in South Carolina and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Coastal Carolina University, graduating cum laude in 2010. She later received a Master of Professional Studies in Publishing from George Washington University in 2015.
Stephanie began her career at University of Virginia, where she first met Dr. Maria Kirzhner in the Department of Ophthalmology. Starting as Dr. Kirzhner’s Administrative Assistant, Stephanie quickly developed a strong professional relationship with her mentor and colleague. Through her dedication and leadership, she advanced within the department and ultimately served as Executive Administrative Assistant to the Department Chair.
In 2023, Stephanie joined Dr. Kirzhner’s practice as Office Manager, embarking on an exciting new chapter in her career. She is passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences while providing personalized support to both staff and leadership. Known for her positive attitude, compassion, and commitment to helping others, Stephanie plays an integral role in the success of the practice.
Outside of work, Stephanie is a devoted wife and mother who enjoys spending quality time with her family.
