At Oculofacial Surgery & Aesthetics, we provide the highest quality eye and facial aesthetic care, and we always want to be transparent with our clients about the cost of services. We participate with most insurance plans and will gladly file your claims. For your convenience, we also offer a variety of ways to pay, including payment plans.

Insurance

We will file claims with your insurance carrier as a courtesy. Your insurance policy is a contract between you and the insurance company. No two insurance policies are the same, but our staff is always happy to answer questions to the best of our ability. You are responsible for the balance if your insurance company denies a claim. We do not accept the following insurance plans: Optima/Sentara, Medicaid and Medicaid Supplements.

Cosmetic Procedures

Cosmetic procedures and treatments are generally not covered by insurance plans. Before receiving an aesthetic service, we will discuss your financial obligations and payment options. There is a $200 consultation fee due at the time of service.

Accepted Forms of Payment

Payment is expected when services are rendered unless prior arrangements for payment plans have been made. We accept cash, checks, Visa, and Mastercard. If your check is returned, there will be an additional $25 fee.

Payment Plans

Payment plans are available and can be personalized and discussed during a consultation.

Cancellation Policy
Time is valuable and at Oculofacial Surgery & Aesthetics we strive to provide the best care possible. Therefore, we have a firm cancellation policy.
We understand that circumstances happen. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please contact our office at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. All rescheduling/cancellations that are less than a 48 hours notice are subject to a $100 fee.
This courtesy allows our office to maintain a higher availability of our time for you and other patients.
There are no exceptions to late cancellations.
No Show Policy
Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a cancellation of your appointment. If we can’t fit you in, we will reschedule your appointment. Please notify the office immediately if unforeseen circumstances occur that may cause a delay in your arrival.
If you do not call and do not show up for your appointment, this is considered a “No Show.” A continued history of No-Shows (three or more) within one year, may result in a dismissal from the clinic.
